Reading God’s Word: Matthew 8:23-9:13; Psalm 9:1-11

Memorizing God’s Word: Matthew 11:29, Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 9:10, Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, stories . . .  we all have them. As I read about the encounters you have with others, I learn about you through the stories you tell. For example, you want to calm the storms in our lives. We are reminded that you are all powerful. You seek those who are lost and forgive their sin, and you desire relationship over religion. Today I will reflect upon my own personal stories. Name the experiences, and people, who have impacted my spiritual journey. Reflect upon your provisions and direction. Embrace with gratitude every detail of my story – you have never forsaken me. Who should I share my story with today? Amen.”
