Meditating on God’s Word:  Matthew 15:11 & 18-19 (LSB) ¹¹“It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”  ¹⁸ “But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man.“ ¹⁹ “For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual immoralities, thefts, false witness, slanders.”

Praying God’s Word: “Heavenly Father, I often wonder what others think of my actions. I want to represent you in what I do. I forget that what I say is just as important as what I do. May I represent you with words that bring honor and glory to you. I want my words to reflect that I am yours. Amen.”
