Reading God’s Word: 1 John 5:14 – 3 John 8; Proverbs 23:19-35

Memorizing God’s Word: 1 John 5:12, He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Meditating on God’s Word: 1 John 5:20, We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true–even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. 

Praying God’s Word: “Lord,  I want to know you. Not know about you ~ but know you! You are truth. You are love. When I know you, I have eternal life, but I also have a soul that is getting along well or prospers (3 John 2). Such an interesting thought . . . a soul that prospers! Is there anything more important than this: faithfulness to and walking in the truth, expressing love through hospitality, working together and imitating what is good? This is knowing you and when I know you, it will be well with my soul! Amen.”
