Reading God’s Word: Acts 24: 1-27; Psalm 116

Memorizing God’s Word:  Romans 5:8, But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Psalm 116:12-16. What shall I return to the Lord for all his goodness to me?  I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the Lord.  I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.  Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.  Truly I am your servant, Lord I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains.  

Praying God’s Word:  Lord, thank you for all your goodness to me.  I know I can’t ever repay you.  But I can be a good and faithful servant.  Thank you that my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.  When I die I wish to hear: well done, welcome home.  Amen
