Reading God’s Word: Romans 7:1-25; Psalm 119:57-64

Memorizing God’s Word: Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Meditating on God’s Word: Romans 7:25 Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!  So then, I myself in my mind am a slave to God’s law, but in my sinful nature a slave to the law of sin.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, Thank You for sending Jesus Christ, whose death has set me free from the bondage of sin and the condemnation of the law. Too often I fail to do the good I long to do and instead choose what I know displeases you. Search my heart; reveal anything that draws me away from you. Lead me to repentance. When I feel discouraged by my weakness, remind me that you have not abandoned me. Thank you for using a broken person like me. Amen”
