Reading God’s Word: Deuteronomy 4:1-43; Psalm 100

Memorizing God’s Word: Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Deuteronomy 4:9 Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, in a world where there is so much information coming at us from many directions, where distractions and busyness seem to consume our time, it is seemingly harder and harder to keep up with and process it all.  Help me to slow down so I do not become careless and miss you in the moments.  To watch closely so I do not forget the wonderful ways you are working and have worked throughout my life.  May they be etched on my heart forever so that I would remember them always and tell others. Amen.”
