Praying God’s Word: “Father, it is so easy for us to become weary as we battle the world, the flesh, and the devil. It is easy to become discouraged when it appears we take three steps forward and two steps back. Give us the strength to persevere, knowing that someday it will be worth it all. Help us to keep our focus on You, and not on the wind and the waves that distract us and cause us to sink in the waters of discouragement and defeat. Thank you for the promise of eternal reward, since You have promised none of our labors are in vain. Amen.”
