Reading God’s Word: Philippians 1:12-2:11; Proverbs 1:1-19

Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 4:15 (NLT) Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church.

Meditating on God’s Word: Philippians 2:10, “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,” Proverbs 1:7, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord Jesus, I look forward today to that day when every knee will bow to You. This is the glory You deserve as our rightful King, but it is also the only way for us to find freedom—since to know You is life, and to serve you is perfect freedom! Help me to see the wisdom in reverently bowing my knee to You. Forgive me for the ways that I place my loyalty and pledge my service to things and people other than You. Let me serve You and You alone today. Amen.
