Meditating on God’s Word:   1 Timothy 6:9 (LSB) “But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, having wealth and possessions are not wrong. It is wrong when the desire to pursue more and more is greater than my desire for You. It can consume so much time to find just one more or work longer to earn more. It is a trap that so many fall into thinking it will bring fulfillment.  Let’s be rich in what matters to God. Amen.”
