Reading God’s Word: Mark 7:31-37; Psalm 85  

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 85:5 Will you be angry with us forever?  Will you prolong your anger through all generations?

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, so many see you this way. Anger. Judgement. A God removed and distant with disgust from his creations. Jesus, thank you for showing us the Father. And that instead of his anger coming upon us you paid that punishment on the cross for us. Thank you that of all the ways you could have revealed him you chose cruciform love. As the world encounters you in us, may we remove all anger and bitterness so they may encounter the God who so BELOVED this world. Amen.”
