Reading God’s Word: Mark 9:14–29, Psalm 89:1-18
Memorizing God’s Word: Mark 8:34, Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
Meditating on God’s Word: Mark 9:27, But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, as I spend time with you today I am surrounded by your presence. I can’t say I understand it completely, but it is such a comfortable and warm embrace! You are in me and around me. I am moved to tears. There Is literally nothing that compares to you. I want to walk in rhythm with you – hand in hand. Not running ahead or lagging behind. Thank you for the times you take my hand and lift me to my feet, so I can stand when I fall. ‘Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord.’ (Psalm 89:15) Amen.”
