Reading God’s Word: Genesis 45-46; Psalm 27
Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 23:1-2 The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
Meditating on God’s Word: Genesis 45:7-8 But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance. “So then, it was not you who sent me here, but God. He made me father to Pharaoh, lord of his entire household and ruler of all Egypt.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, if only we would demonstrate this amount of grace to those who we felt slighted by. A former employer, spouse, estranged family, or friends. We often feel resentment towards them for certain treatment, but have we ever gone back to apologize or forgive them for what happened? Their actions may have been subject to God’s sovereignty as were Joseph’s brothers, and he gave them grace in the end as well as an amazing testimony! May we read Your Word and feel your grace, as we give grace to others as well. Amen.”
