Praying God’s Word: “Lord, there are so many times in my life when darkness comes to me. It seems like I am always losing a friend or family member to death. And then I often think of my own serious illnesses or death which one day I will face. Remind me each and every time that I need not be afraid or fearful, because you are with me, closer than even my next breath. Help me to quickly call upon you for the comfort that only you can give. Amen.”
