Reading God’s Word: Philippians 3:9-4:9; Proverbs 2:1-15
Memorizing God’s Word: Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Meditating on God’s Word: Proverbs 2:10 “For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.”
Praying God’s Word: “Father, may I continually humble myself to your instruction. As I begin my day, I lay down my prideful ways here at your feet. Give me a mantle of humility that overcomes the image I want others to see. Let them just see you. May I allow myself to center here on you this morning and carry the light that you shine be reflected to those I encounter. Help me to submit to the transforming ways of your Holy Spirit and choose to be shaped by you rather than the world. Let your wisdom soaking into my mind shape me toward the better way of life that you offer Lord, Amen.”
