Praying God’s Word: “Father, a great truth that is found in our meditation for today is the reality of Christ’s resurrection from the dead. Our entire eternal hope rests on this reality. If Christ did not rise from the dead, then there is no hope that we would rise from the dead. And if that were true, then we are the most miserable of all since we have placed our hope in a false belief that someday we will be resurrected to eternal life. But that is not the case! Thank You for the promise of resurrection, made possible by Christ’s resurrection, and the hope that someday we will stand in Your presence in our new, glorified body to enjoy eternity with all the redeemed of all ages, but most of all with our Savior. Amen.”
