Praying God’s Word: “Father, one of the distinguishing marks of Christ’s life is His gracious words. Even His enemies were astonished. However, what is also remarkable is that to those who had already firmly and irrevocably rejected Christ, such as the religious leaders, His words fell on deaf ears. Please do not let us become hardened to Your words, but remain open and receptive. And finally, help us share the good news of Christ with others, so that they too may be exposed to His gracious words and respond in faith. Amen.”
