Reading God’s Word: John 7:14-24; Psalm 47
Memorizing God’s Word: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 47:8 (LSB) God reigns over the nations, God sits on His holy throne.
Praying God’s Word: “Father, as we look around the world today, it is easy to fall into the trap of fear, anxiety, and doubt about things. Sometimes it is easy to think that things are careening out of control, and the world is headed for the proverbial cliff. It is at this time that we need to remind ourselves that You sit on the throne of the universe as the sovereign ruler over all nations. What do we have to fear? You are in control, and no nation can thwart Your eternal purposes. In the midst of a world of fear, help us to remain calm, knowing that You are on the throne. Amen.”
