Reading God’s Word:  Ruth 2; Proverbs 1:1-7

Memorizing God’s Word: Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Meditating on God’s Word: Ruth 2:3 So she went out, entered a field and began to glean behind the harvesters. As it turned out, she was working in a field belonging to Boaz, who was from the clan of Elimelek.

Praying God’s Word: “God, I love to see what you do when we simply act in faith. So simple, yet so profound. Ruth was a foreigner in an unknown land. She could have sat at home, praying you would provide, but her faith led her to action, knowing you would provide. And as it turned out… you brought her to just the right field, at just the right moment, noticed by just the right person, who would do just what she needed most. That’s not coincidence, it’s providence. Not luck, but the Lord’s hand at work through active and obedient faith. May this be my faith today. Faith in a God who is sovereign in the big and the small, in the thunderous and the silence. I’m looking for you. I’m trusting in you. Amen.”
