Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 32-33; Psalm 24

Memorizing God’s Word: Jeremiah 29:11-12 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

Meditating on God’s Word: Jeremiah 32:17 “Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I am sure the people of Israel who were devastated in every way by Babylon found it hard to believe that they, their land and the city of Jerusalem could ever be restored, let alone prosperous (32:42). When everything has fallen apart around us, it is so hard to believe that good can come again. But may we hear this verse: “Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.” Nothing is too hard for you. You are sovereign, powerful and good. So we trust you. May that trust be evident today as we live out this day you have given us. Amen.”
