Reading God’s Word: Catch-up Day; Psalm 3

Previewing Jeremiah: https://bibleproject.com/explore/video/jeremiah/

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 3:2-3 (ESV) Many are saying of my soul, “There is no salvation for him in God.” But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, how many times have I prayed, ‘God just take it away from me.’ But that’s not how you choose to work, because you know a better way. You don’t promise I’ll be free of enemies, but you do promise to be my shield. When I’m weighed down with lies, such as – ‘God can’t help you, God can’t save you, God doesn’t want you’ – you lift me with the truth. And when I have nothing glorious in my circumstances, I have my God. He is my glory, and the lifter of my head. Amen.”
