Memorizing God’s Word: John 8:31-32, To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Ezekiel 12:2, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, rebellion and restoration ~ we read about it then and we read about it now. Is it really any different today? When we choose our own way, we rebel against you. When we return with a repentant heart, you restore us to the joy of our salvation. Your unfailing love is for ever and ever. Today may I listen with focus, so I do not miss how I can represent you in my world. My influence may be minimal but with your hand upon me, I can make a difference. Amen.”
