Praying God’s Word: “Lord, thank you for this reminder that life is not always about me ending up on top! So often I think of a great life in terms of what I will get, how I will feel, the opportunities I will have, and the position I achieve. Help me to remember that true greatness goes through suffering into glory! Help me to follow this path that you set, where greatness is not about raising myself up, but about lowering myself to love others. Amen.”
