Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 38:18 I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, forgive me. I confess my worry. I confess my anger. I confess my envy. I confess my selfishness and pride and failure to follow you. Father, I confess it all. I can’t keep it. I can’t carry it. I can’t deny it. And I can’t cure it. All I can do, for the bajillionth time (yep…that’s a thing), is lay it at your feet. I leave it there right now. Reckoning myself dead to all that so I can be all the light you have called me to be today. Amen.”
