Reading God’s Word:  Isaiah 6

Advent Reading: Isaiah 53:1-6

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Meditating on God’s Word: Isaiah 6:5, “‘Woe to me!’ I cried. ‘I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.’”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, thank You for the example in Your Word of faithful men and women who show us what it means to fear You. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God! Being in the presence of Your holiness is enough to undo me! Yet, You long to dwell with me, and so You cleanse me not with a hot coal, but with the costly sacrifice of Your Son. Thank You for making a way for us to be together! Amen.”
