Reading God’s Word: 1 Chronicles 13-14; Psalm 42

Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 42:11, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.”

Praying God’s Word: “Father, I am just as desperate for Your presence as the wild animals are for a refreshing drink. I’m thirsty, and I need You! I’m in trouble, and if You aren’t with me, there’s no hope! So quickly my soul deflates into despair when trouble comes. Help me to remember my hope in You, with the confidence that I will yet praise You, God who saves! Amen.”
