Meditating on God’s Word: Obadiah 12 You should not gloat over your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, I must admit that there are times when I am happy that people who do sinful and evil things get a punishment. Yes, I often feel they are getting what they deserve. Forgive me for not listening to you and following your example. Fill me with your Holy Spirit, so that I may be more like Jesus, who wept over the sins of Jerusalem. Amen.”
