Reading God’s Word: Catch-up day; Psalm 101

Previewing Amos:

Memorizing God’s Word: Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 101:2-3 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—when will you come to me? I will conduct the affairs of my house with a blameless heart. I will not look with approval on anything that is vile. I hate what faithless people do; I will have no part in it.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, this is easy to say, but not always easy to do. Yet we know that Your ways are right, and Your commands are for our wellbeing. May we not only preach of the blameless life, may we also live this way and lead by example. Having a blameless heart not only benefits us, but also our family, our church, and all of God’s people. Help us to be blameless. Amen.
