Meditating on God’s Word: Judges 2:1b-2 “I said, ‘I will never break my covenant with you, and you shall not make a covenant with the people of this land, but you shall break down their altars.’ Yet you have disobeyed me. Why have you done this?”

Praying God’s Word “Lord, You promised your people victory, as long as they obeyed You. Yet as soon as they arrived to the Promised Land, they decide to take the path of least resistance. How often do we do this in our own lives and fail to see the fruition of your promises, because of our own fear or discomfort? May we always choose to obey you in order to see your work done through us, Amen!”
