Reading God’s Word:  Luke 24; Proverbs 30

Memorizing God’s Word:  Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

Meditating on God’s Word:  Luke 24:12 LSB “But Peter stood up and ran to the tomb; and stooping to look in, he *saw the linen wrappings only. And he went away by himself, marveling at what had happened.”

Praying God’s Word:  “Heavenly Father thank you for the empty tomb. Thank you that our faith is found in an empty tomb and a risen savior.  Like Peter, we all marvel at what happened. Today, cemeteries are places where people go to remember a loved one who has died. The empty tomb Peter saw was where a promise was kept and faith was born. Amen”
