Reading God’s Word: Genesis 5:1-6:8; Psalm 3:1-8

Memorizing God’s Word: Genesis 1:1, In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Genesis 5:24, Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, if You were going to sum up my life in 56 words, what would be said about me? What sort of legacy is my life building? Is the overwhelming theme of my life a faithful walk with You? Whatever my life situation, help me to always take my next step with You, one foot at a time. And I know Lord, that as You brought Enoch home to be with You, You’ll take me home as well at the end of my life. Sustain me every day until then by Your grace. Amen.
