Reading God’s Word: Revelation 14

Advent Reading: Romans 15:4-13

Memorizing God’s Word:  Ephesians 5:1-2Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel flying through the heavens, carrying the everlasting Good News to preach to those on earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people.  “Fear God,” he shouted, “and extol his greatness. For the time has come when he will sit as Judge. Worship him who made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all its sources.”

Praying God’s Word: Lord, tomorrow we celebrate your earthly birth, in these verses we read that the EVERLASTING Good News will be told until you sit as Judge.  Help each of us to worship you and tell of your greatness; and to share the Good News of your mercy and grace.  Thank you for providing the Good News of eternal life up until you sit as Judge in final judgement.  Amen
