Advent Reading: Galatians 4:4-7

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 40:28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Meditating on God’s Word: Isaiah 35:4 Say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.” 

Praying God’s Word: Father, when adversity comes to us or to others, may we find hope and strength in knowing that you care for us, and in the end, you will be there as our protector and shield. Remind us that judgment is yours alone, and as a good Father you will always take care of your children. Amen.
