Praying God’s Word “Lord, this book gives us a great example of someone who doesn’t just talk the talk, but walks in it. Help us to be more like Gaius – a faithful servant, hospitable, a man walking in truth and love, even to strangers, even in the face of lies and gossip. No wonder he gave John so much joy. Help us to walk in the truth, and to imitate what is good, Lord. It’s so tempting to repay evil for evil, but you show us a better way. Help us to walk in it. Amen.”
