Reading God’s Word: Nahum 1-3; Psalm 114
Memorizing God’s Word: 2 Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Meditating on God’s Word: Nahum 1:7 (ESV) The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.
Praying God’s Word “Lord, Nahum gives us a glimpse into the “day of trouble,” and reminds us that even there, you are good. You don’t let evil continue forever. You will not allow Satan one hour more than he’s been allowed. And in this we hope! Even in our trouble, you are good, you are strong, and you know your children. Our prayers, our tears, our groans, our longings, you know them all, and have not forgotten us. We trust you today, Lord. Amen.”
