Reading God’s Word: Luke 19:45–48, Psalm 16
Memorizing God’s Word: Luke 19:10, For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 16:8, I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, why will I not be shaken? (16:8) Because I have set you before me (always). Why is my heart glad? (16:9) Because you are at my right hand. Why is my body secure? (16:9) Because you will not abandon me. Why will I experience joy in your presence? (16:11) Because you have made known to me the path of life (and I listened). It is all about my relationship with you, Lord! May we also be a people who ‘hung on his words’ (Luke 19:48) so we can declare with the Psalmist ‘You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.’ (16:2) Amen.”
