Reading God’s Word: Job 20-21; Psalm 113

Memorizing God’s Word: Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 113:5 Who is like the Lord our God, the One who sits enthroned on high.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, we are in an age of unprecedented technological increase. We are fascinated with iPhones. We marvel at 3d printers, self-driving cars and towers reaching to the heavens. But who is like you? The maker of the mind that makes it all. The former of fingers that type these lines. The engineer of eyes that allow us to see these mere trinkets that cannot even stand in your shadow. Who is like you? You made the heart which holds it all in a container to wonderful, to fearful to even describe. So may our hearts belong to you today, and worship you alone, the One who sits enthroned on high. Amen.”
