Praying God’s Word: “Father, we are reminded today again of just where our help comes. Whenever we face trials, our first reaction is to look at our resources and think of what we need to do to deal with whatever situation arises. What would it be like if we started with You? Forgive us for looking to our own devices, and when we face a time of need may we come to You first as You are the only true and unfailing source of help in our time of need. Amen.”
