Reading God’s Word: Luke 17:11-18:30; Proverbs 25
Memorizing God’s Word: Luke 16:13 No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Meditating on God’s Word: Luke 17:33 Whoever tries to keep their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life will preserve it.
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, give me a grateful heart, like the leper, who praises and glorifies you in everything. A heart which is humble in spirit, like the tax collector, who recognizes my sinfulness and begs for mercy. Faith like a child, who comes to you with pure trust and obedience. And persistence, like the widow, never ceasing to take my requests and prayers before you. Purify and sanctify my heart and mind so that on the day of your return, I am ready and eager to be brought into your eternal kingdom. Amen.”
