Praying God’s Word:  Lord, we read here that after You rescued David from his foes, David gave thanks and then sang this song of praise.  Forgive me when I don’t thank you and praise you after you have answered my prayers.  Thank you for making me your child; for all the blessings you have given me; and the assurance of spending eternity with you.
