Reading God’s Word: Jeremiah 1; Psalm 4

Memorizing God’s Word: Isaiah 53:6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Meditating on God’s Word: Jeremiah 1:4-5 The word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Praying God’s Word: “God, this passage of Scripture is mind-blowing. True, we’re not the prophet Jeremiah; and yet, what was true about you then is true about you today. While our parents patiently waited 9 months to meet us, you knew us fully. While they took life a day at a time, you knew every day before one of them was lived. And before any of us existed in our mother’s womb, we existed in the mind and plans of Almighty God! May we be overwhelmed with confidence today, that you’re using all of life to make us like Christ, and would we choose to walk in your plans. Amen.”
