Reading God’s Word: Exodus 3:1-4:31; Psalm 33

Memorizing God’s Word: Psalm 23:3-4, “he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”

Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 33:13-15, “The Lord looks down from heaven and sees the whole human race. From his throne he observes all who live on the earth. He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do.”

Praying God’s Word: “Father God, you looked down on Israel in captivity, on their Egyptian oppressors, and you observed their hearts.  You had compassion for the cries of your people and your heart burned against the cruelty of their captors.  Right now, you look at all mankind still.  You made my heart and You understand me!  Thank you for being concerned with my misery and trouble.  Jesus, you led me out of slavery and oppression, thank you!  Help me to live in that freedom and to not slip back to bondage.  Keep my eyes fixed on you, Amen.”
