Reading God’s Word: Matthew 28:16-Mark 1:22; Psalm 31:1-8
Memorizing God’s Word: John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Meditating on God’s Word: Matthew 28:17, “When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.”
Praying God’s Word: “Lord, You know the hearts of human beings like no one else. As Your disciples gathered for Your ascension on that day, You could see the doubt and the hesitation and the wrestling. And yet, You sent them out anyway! They doubted, but You entrusted them with the most important mission in the history of the universe: Making disciples of Jesus. I’m so glad that You’re not afraid of my doubts and my wrestling, but that You use me just as I am. So, no matter how I’m feeling or what’s going on in my life, let me live on mission today! Amen.”
