Meditating on God’s Word: Isaiah 8:17, “I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding his face from the descendants of Jacob. I will put my trust in him.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, even in the midst of dire circumstances, and even when it seems as though You are far away, and even when it seems that salvation is a long way off, let me put my trust in You! Give me the will to pledge my faith: I will put my trust in You! You are faithful, and I can wait on You, even when it feels as though You’re hiding Your face—for You are still at work! Amen.”
