Reading God’s Word: Deuteronomy 8-9; Psalm 103
Memorizing God’s Word: Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.
Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 103:22 Praise the Lord, all his works everywhere in his dominion. Praise the Lord, my soul
Praying God’s Word: “Praise you Lord, O my soul! You are worthy of all my praises. In this short Psalm today, we learn that you are forgiving, healer, redeemer, loving, compassionate, giving, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love, and more. Your character does not change or falter based on our own righteousness or integrity. Even though we are an undeserving people, you still shower us with your blessings and love. Let us not become proud, like we’ve been reading about the Israelites, and forget who you are and what you’ve done. Amen.”
