Reading God’s Word: Hosea 11:12-13:16; Psalm 95

Memorizing God’s Word: Colossians 2:6,7 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Meditating on God’s Word: Hosea 13:4 But I have been the Lord your God ever since you came out of Egypt. You shall acknowledge no God but me, no Savior except me.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, throughout history you have had to remind your people that you are their only hope. You have had to remind them time and again to not place their love and trust in other things. And today our world still needs that reminder. And that world is too often me. Remind me often that everything I have will soon be gone, and that you alone are the one in whom I should put my trust and hope. Amen.”
