Reading God’s Word: 2 Chronicles 25-26; Psalm 67

Memorizing God’s Word: John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Meditating on God’s Word: 2 Chronicles 26:16, “But after Uzziah became powerful, his pride led to his downfall. He was unfaithful to the Lord his God, and entered the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of incense.”

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, thank you for the reminder today that our lives and our stories are constantly changing. King Uzziah did what was right in Your eyes, but as he experienced the weight of success, it revealed a pride in him that led to unfaithfulness. Good Father, search my heart even now! Show me my hidden faults, and keep me from a similar downfall. I want to follow you and do what is right in Your eyes all the days of my life. Amen.”
