Praying God’s Word: “Lord, you are firm in your purpose. You keep your eye upon the righteous and speak to us in our affliction. When we go astray, you pursue us to return. Your ways are infinitely higher than our ways. Admittingly, I would prefer your still and quiet voice of correction, but if the roar of your spirit is needed to get my attention, then may I listen with a willingness to repent and obey. Amen.”
