Reading God’s Word: Hebrews 2; Psalm 122

Memorizing God’s Word: For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Meditating on God’s Word: Hebrews 2:18 (LSB)For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to help those who are tempted.

Praying God’s Word: “Father, when we find ourselves tempted by sin, it is a great comfort to know that Your Son faced every temptation that we do, yet He was without sin. That enables Him to understand our struggles, and be sympathetic to our weaknesses. When we find ourselves overwhelmed by temptation, help us to run to Him for strength, because He knows exactly what we are going through and is there to help us in whatever situation we may find ourselves, Amen.”
