Meditating on God’s Word: Psalm 127:1 Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

Praying God’s Word: Lord, when will I ever finally realize that you are a loving and sovereign God who simply wants me to surrender my own will and ways to you. Period. It is so vain and fruitless for me to keep trying to do things my way. May your Holy Spirit once and for all bring me to the conviction and life-changing realization that your ways are so much better and effective than my ways. Forgive me for not trusting you Lord Jesus. Amen.
