Reading God’s Word: Ezekiel 28; Psalm 63

Memorizing God’s Word:  Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Meditating on God’s Word:  Psalm 63:1 (ESV) O God, you are my God, I earnestly search for you.  My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land.

Praying God’s Word: “Lord, David had all the fame, luxuries, and extravagances this world had to offer, yet when he was void of them, they were not what his heart desired.  He had tasted and experienced something greater.  Something that rose far above those temporal pleasures.  You!  He realized that the only thing that could satisfy his deepest longing was to be close to you.  In relationship with the one who created him, knew him, and loved him beyond measure.  Oh, that I would be like David and realize that nothing in this life could quench my thirst or fill any voids in my heart and life except you.  That I would earnestly seek you out and long to be connecting with you daily.   For there is no greater earthly experience than to be in your presence. Amen.”
